Celebrating Blessings

This post is inspired by Rasie Bamigbade. Earlier today she asked the question “What are you grateful for?”

At the start of today, I didn’t have a good answer besides the “usual” things. But as my day progressed, I am celebrating the following three blessings.

Blessing #1:

My daughter sent me a package which contained a little red sack that said “60 Things We Love About You” and inside were 60 pink and red hearts with something written on each one. Sentiments such as: “You take time for us”; “You want what is best for us”; “You have taught us so much”; and “You show us how to work hard” Did I cry when I open up the sack – yes! Absolutely!

Blessing #2:

A friend from college, whom I had not talked to in over two years, called this morning and we talked for over an hour! It was great!

Blessing #3:

I received an email from a friend who told me she had donated in my name to a children’s organization that she supports. I was honored that she thought of me like that.

So thank you Rasie for your gratitude prompt.

And I will end with asking her question: What are YOU grateful for?
