Figuring out your super power is a big part of helping you get to the next level in your business.

First – Don’t give up!
Don’t give up after trying something once and think you’re a failure! You’re not!
It’s like trying to follow the grapefruit diet or the cabbage diet, but when neither one works for you, you think you can’t lose weight.
Or you buy one book on how to start a business, thinking this is the only way to do so, but what is shared doesn’t apply to you. Because of that, it doesn’t work for you, but you think you’ve failed.
You’re not a failure – you just need to find the right way that fits you and your lifestyle!
Second – Let me customize your roadmap!
The best way to be on the path to success is to create a roadmap designed especially for you!
It’s like traveling from California to New York. There are so many ways to go. You can take the northern route or the southern route. You can go in the middle and see the Grand Canyon. You can take a dog-friendly route or one that has lots of stops because you have kids in the car. There are so many choices!
The point is to figure out your lifestyle in order to determine which route fits you best. If someone tells you there is only one way to get to New York, that’s really short-sighted and can cause you to fail.
This is where one of my superpowers comes into play. I focus on customizing the path that will set you up for success. It will uniquely fit you because I don’t do one-size-fits-all kind of coaching.
For example, consider these two clients. One is a stay-at-home mom with two little ones who recently obtained her real estate license. She needs activities she can do at home. Compare that to a man who has his own roofing business and wants to take it to the next level. His road is going to look different than hers.
Focusing on their strengths and their superpowers is part of the process. It doesn’t make sense to tell the mom to do community service, join a couple of clubs, and go play pickleball – which is what works for the roofer. And her activities definitely won’t work for him as he’d be bored really quick.
Third – I will help you know when to pivot!
Here’s the key – sometime you have to try different things before finding the one that works best for you. If one plan doesn’t work, we’re going pivot and create another plan. We are not going to stick it out for five years and then go, okay, this didn’t work.
I’m exaggerating, but I will help you pivot when needed. This is what COVID taught us – how to pivot. The people who pivoted survived and the ones who didn’t but hid under the bed, ended up closing their doors.
We all have changes in our lives. The key is to be willing to embrace the pivot!
Fourth – I will help you be set up for success from the start!
I want to help you be set up for success from the beginning. So to begin with, my ideal client is not somebody who has to go into debt to pay for coaching. I don’t want you to be in debt doing this and then not be able to pay your mortgage.
Sometimes people will come to me who aren’t set up financially, so I will tell them, “You’re not quite ready yet. Let’s make sure you have three months of savings in your bank account and then we can start coaching.”
You need to have money in savings before you just quit your job. I had a really good corporate job before I started my own coaching business. I had steady paycheck twice a month, 401k, and health insurance – but I was extremely unhappy. Before quitting my corporate job, however, I hired a coach and she helped set me up for success. I put enough money in savings, so that if I didn’t have a client for the first six months when I started on my own, I’d be fine.
I want each person I start coaching with to be financially prepared. I don’t want someone waking up at four in the morning, wondering how they are going to pay their bills only 30 days in. I am very budget conscious.
Rather, my ideal client is somebody who is stuck. No matter where you are in your business, I can help you take it to the next level. There are so many ways to achieve that – which is part of the customized coaching.
